5 Reasons why we love Intelligent Process Automation

Author: Chinia Green, Marketing Manager

On the 14th of February, we celebrate St Valentine’s Day, originally a Western Christian feast day honouring an early saint named Valentinus, but more recently the day has become associated with love hearts, cards and chocolates. Despite how commercial Valentine’s Day has become, it does grant us the opportunity to express our passion for the most important things in our lives. At Celaton we are passionate about all things tech and more specifically Intelligent Process Automation (IPA). So, in the spirit of St Valentines, we have compiled a list of the reasons why we love IPA.

1. Improved Operational Efficiencies

Through the automation and streamlining of tasks within end-to-end processes such as Accounts Payable, Sales Orders, Claims and Customer Correspondence handling, IPA significantly increases the speed at which documents are processed. This reduces Average Handling Times (AHT) and error rates considerably, improving overall process efficiency.

2. Enhanced Customer Experience

Faster processing and handling times mean staff are freed up to spend more time building relationships and improving customer experience. In addition, better visibility of data means that employees are able to respond to customer enquiries quickly and more accurately, improving NPS and competitive advantage as a result.

3. Boosted Employee Morale

IPA’s ability to support operators in routine tasks enables them to complete more rewarding activities such as relationship building, problem-solving and negotiating. Through embracing IPA organisations can ensure the success and sustainability of their business through happier and more motivated employees.

4. Increased Data Security and Compliance

IPA enables improved visibility and access to documents. This enables organisations to better monitor and review data for compliance, minimising risk and potential noncompliance fines.

5. Business Agility

IPA platforms utilising Machine Learning algorithms to deliver continual optimisation and scalability within a system called ‘Human in the Loop’. For example, Celaton’s Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) platform inSTREAM™ utilises Machine Learning algorithms to learn through the natural consequence of processing and through collaborating with operators who teach it about each document exception.  This removes the need for reprogramming and ensures the process is constantly optimised and scalable, saving organisations valuable time, resource and most significantly increasing efficiency. This is essential for supporting business growth and competitive advantage.

The above only covers a small number of the things we love about IPA technology and benefits achievable by organisations. If you would like to find out more about IPA and the benefits it can deliver, Celaton has a host of customer case studies available at https://celaton.com/solutions/customersuccess
