1.  Don’t limit your thinking to what you know technology can do today

If you have reached barriers before in RPA projects, don’t assume that these barriers can’t be overcome with complementary solutions such as Machine Learning. In doing so you can embrace processing barriers, for example, document exceptions such as handwritten notes, because of the role that operators play in supporting the technologies learning through a process called ‘Human in the Loop’ (Find out more about ‘Human in the Loop’).

2. Don’t treat Intelligent Process Automation and Digital Transformation as IT projects

Digital Transformation is all about delivering the greatest value an organisations business users and suppliers and customers as a result. In order to do this, there needs to be an understanding of those process and daily, who better to provide these insights and lead projects than the people experiencing these processes on a daily basis.
