Business Development Manager

The role

We are seeking an experienced, intelligent and credible business development manager with a track record of success in generating new business within enterprise customers from enquiry to close. Reporting directly to our Commercial Director, the role will require you to effectively articulate a compelling value proposition and manage a complex sales engagement in collaboration with our partners in the UK but also internationally as we grow.

Main Functions/Responsibilities - 

Primarily focus in the UK but with opportunity for international travel you'll identify and qualify revenue generating opportunities with Enterprise customers.

Whilst most enquiries are generated through marketing and events you'll be responsible for the full sales cycle from initial enquiry through qualification, presentation, demonstration, proposal and closing. Whilst you need to be self motivated it's essential that you can work well in a team environment.

You'll be required to develop a sales plan with enterprise customers that includes post sale account management to generate further business through a 'land and expand' strategy.

Knowledge/Experience required -

  • Minimum 2 years sales experience in Saas environment
  • Self-motivated and commercially astute
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skillsConfident an
  • Confident and experienced in engaging with C-level executives

Location -  

You may live anywhere in the UK but you will need to be within driving distance of Milton Keynes to meet regularly with your colleagues who will support you in your role.
